This Pompadour ring dates from the late Art Deco period (1930-1935). Crafted in 18-carat white gold and platinum, it features a 2.40-carat natural sapphire in the center, set off by 12 old-cut diamonds.
Why do we love this Art Deco Pompadour ring?
The Pompadour ring takes its name from the famous Madame de Pompadour, mistress of King Louis XV and great patron of the arts in the 18th century. Known for her refinement and taste for sumptuous jewelry, she inspired a trend that continues to this day. The Pompadour model, characterized by its harmonious shapes and timeless elegance, evokes discreet luxury, yet is highly sought-after by collectors of vintage jewelry.
