Antique Natural Sapphire and Diamond Ring

Antique ring from the Art Deco period circa 1930 in 18 carat (750 thousandths) yellow gold and platinum. It is adorned with a central natural sapphire of approximately 4 carats, in an octagonal surround of old-cut diamonds, for a total of approximately 1 carat. The basket is finely decorated and supported by three old-cut diamonds on each side.
